We would be remiss if we did not mention that we have a four year old son who normally takes much pleasure in playing with his hundreds of toys and leaving them wherever he happens to. In addition we have an Irish Setter who needed a little extra sensitivity due to so many changes occurring. My son took great joy in telling our guests and neighbors everything which the Olsen Team and done and staged. He was treated with respect by everyone on the team and looked forward to their visits and kept everything looking pristine as a result. Our dog was also treated kindly, helping to make the circumstances less hectic.
Sue and her team held property tours, individual viewings and leveraged their relationships to market our home. June of 2008 was not a good time to sell a home, especially given the inventory for sale in the area and two other homes being for sale on our street. Throughout the process the Olsen Team updated us with information regarding interest or lack there of in some cases.
Within five weeks we were under contract to sell our home. Sue was a sound thinker and a reasonable adviser throughout the offer presentation and negotiating the deal points, even though she represented the buyers as well. This is a difficult situation however yet again; we were very impressed with Sue’s ability to navigate with grace.
The closing process was seamless, easy and we were able to work with other professionals who Sue has inspired to keep her clients as their priority.
Sue rightfully could let her success go to her head. She and her team represent many buyers and sellers and they have a long established reputation in the Moraga area. They do not fail to recognize that their stellar reputation has been established by consistently repeating flawless work and they approach every day with the idea that they are responsible to re-earn their reputation.
