Student Accountability Report Card (SARC)
Every year, each school is required to produce a Student Accountability Report Card (SARC). The principal of each school summarized their report for the 2008-2009 school year with these highlights:
Acalanes High School
- API scores increased 6 points to 902 in 2009. (The state average is 712, the county average is 724.)
- The number of students passing Advanced Placement (AP) exams has been more than 91 percent consistently from 2001 to 2009.
- 96% of the class of 2009 went on to attend college.

Campolindo High School
- At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, three Campolindo alumni from the class of 2002 medaled in baseball, swimming and water polo.
- For the fifth year in a row, Campolindo is ranked in the very top percentile of high schools in California with an API of 919, an increase of 10 points from 2008.
- 91% of the student body took the SAT college entrance exams in 2009.
- 98% of the class of 2009 is attending college.

Within Contra Costa County, the following schools also received a Best High Schools rating: California High School in San Ramon received a Silver Medal distinction; Middle College High School in San Pablo received a Bronze Medal distinction; Monte Vista High School in Danville received a Silver Medal distinction; and San Ramon Valley High School in Danville received a Silver Medal distinction.
