Lamorinda is a desirable community for buyers of all ages. A few of the perks: top-rated schools, mild seasons, proximity to nightlife and daytime getaway destinations, bucolic scenery and friendly neighbors.
“Lamorinda” is the term coined for three neighboring towns: Lafayette, Orinda and Moraga. Lamorinda is located between the Oakland Hills and Walnut Creek. Orinda is the first city you’ll come upon, traveling east through the Caldecott Tunnel on Highway 24. Lafayette exits are just east of Orinda, on Highway 24. There is no direct freeway access to Moraga.
There are distinct neighborhoods within each town, with varying topography, architecture, and downtown walkability. Home prices also vary throughout Lamorinda.
