This week, in the absence of compelling new inventory, we are again revisiting more mature inventory that presents good value. These homes are all under $1 million. Some need a bit of work work, but several are move-in ready, which we have indicated in our comments.
Remember that the FHA Super Jumbo Loan with maximum value of 729,000 is scheduled to expire as of 12/31/2008. All qualifying loans should be funded by 12/10/2008, and initiated by 12/1/2008. This is so that the lending institutions can sell the completed loans back to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac before the end of the year.
